Welcome to Nazi-occupied Paris, a unique open world where you are The Saboteur. Play as Sean Devlin, a street-tough Irish racing mechanic seeking personal redemption on a Nazi officer that has taken everything away from him.

Now, it’s time for payback – with the help of the French Resistance, British intelligence, an arsenal of weaponry, and your own street smarts and brawn, you must exact revenge on those who aimed to destroy your life. Motivated by retribution and armed with tactics of sabotage, blow up zeppelins, derail trains, implode bridges, destroy armored tanks, and level enemy facilities in the name of vengeance, in the first open-world action game set in Nazi-occupied Europe.

GOG version has a bug when applying GFX settings via “VideoSetup.exe” for non-English languages.
It always writes changes to “C:UsersYour UsernameDocumentsmy gamesThe Saboteur™” folder,
even if the language is set to one, which have localized name for “My Games” folder, like “Мои игры” for Russian OS.

To workaround it, set the game language to English in “language_setup.exe”, save settings in “VideoSetup.exe” and then copy
“C:UsersYour UsernameDocumentsmy gamesThe Saboteur™config.ini”to
“C:UsersYour UsernameDocumentsYOUR LOCALIZIDED GAMES FOLDERThe Saboteur™config.ini”, overwriting it.

If you want to play in a window, add “Windowed 1” at the end of the “config.ini”

Setting refresh rate from 60 Hz to anything above will reset the game to default 800×600 resolution.

You can skip downloading of files you don’t need. Here is the list of optional files:

• setup-fitgirl-selective-english.bin (also MUST be downloaded by Russian and Polish users)
• setup-fitgirl-selective-french.bin
• setup-fitgirl-selective-german.bin
• setup-fitgirl-selective-italian.bin
• setup-fitgirl-optional-unused.bin (pre-rendered beta game scene with absent lipsync).

In example, if you want to launch the game with German UI/Subtitles/Voiceovers – skip all “selective/optional” files,
but download setup-fitgirl-selective-german.bin & all main files (1-4).
