Trapped inside a distorted and corrupted game project you must navigate through. Your goal is to break out beyond the project’s limitations and uncover the truth behind it’s downfall and the reasons behind the developer’s sudden abandonment. Leverage the power of the Code Cannon to transcend the confines of this twisted reality and forge a path to freedom. While playing stay watchful for a team of rogue assets seek to erase you from the game files, your journey will be anything but easy.

Game Features

  • Assets – In the early days, assets were crafted with care and specific functions. Initially confined by the developers boundaries, these characters evolved beyond their limitations, growing in complexity and ultimately seizing control of the project that created them.
  • Code Cannon – This cannon has the ability to rewrite code. This modification can aid REDACTED in escaping the confines of this fallen project. Using the Code Cannon can help repair damaged or missing code, debug and patch code that will help continue progression.
  • Puzzles – Solve long abandoned puzzles while hoping to find no bugs left behind by the developer that could leave you trapped into debugging the underlying issues.

How to play on Windows 7?

  • Run “KexSetup_x64Rel.exe” from “_Windows 7 Fix” folder and install that extension
  • Open “PlaceOfDecayBinariesWin64PlaceOfDecay-Win64-Shipping.exe” file properties in Explorer, then “VxKex” tab
  • Check “Enable VxKex for this program” and “Report a different version of Windows, Windows 10” checkboxes, Apply, OK
