Repack Features

  • 100% Lossless & MD5 Perfect: all files are identical to originals after installation
  • NOTHING ripped, NOTHING re-encoded
  • Selective Download feature: you may skip downloading and installing of optional voiceover/movies packs. English VO are included by default
  • Significantly smaller archive size (compressed from cumulative 23.5 to 4.6~6.4 GB for any single language)
  • Installation takes 5-10 minutes (depending on your system and selected language)
  • After-install integrity check so you could make sure that everything installed properly
  • HDD space after installation: up to 17 GB
  • Language can be changed by editing language string in “SmartSteamEmu.ini”, use one of the following variables: brazilian, bulgarian, czech, danish, dutch, english, finnish, french, german, greek, hungarian, italian, japanese, koreana, latam, norwegian, polish, portuguese, romanian, russian, schinese, spanish, swedish, tchinese, thai, turkish, ukrainian. Please note, that some languages have missing translations for some new strings. Vietnamese language is not supported by SSE emu, so this repack has 27 languages, not 28 as Steam release.
  • At least 2 GB of free RAM (inc. virtual) required for installing this repack
  • If the game crashes on launch after the splash screen, just run it again
Game Description
Set in the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2) is the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning Left 4 Dead, the #1 co-op game of 2008.

This co-operative action horror FPS takes you and your friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the Deep South, from Savannah to New Orleans across five expansive campaigns.

You’ll play as one of four new survivors armed with a wide and devastating array of classic and upgraded weapons. In addition to firearms, you’ll also get a chance to take out some aggression on infected with a variety of carnage-creating melee weapons, from chainsaws to axes and even the deadly frying pan.

You’ll be putting these weapons to the test against (or playing as in Versus) three horrific and formidable new Special Infected. You’ll also encounter five new “uncommon” common infected, including the terrifying Mudmen.

Helping to take L4D’s frantic, action-packed gameplay to the next level is AI Director 2.0. This improved Director has the ability to procedurally change the weather you’ll fight through and the pathways you’ll take, in addition to tailoring the enemy population, effects, and sounds to match your performance. L4D2 promises a satisfying and uniquely challenging experience every time the game is played, custom-fitted to your style of play.

You can skip downloading of voice/moviepacks you don’t need. Here is the list of optional files.

  • fg-optional-rus-spa-ger-fra.bin (required for any of the four optional language installations)
  • fg-optional-french.bin
  • fg-optional-german.bin
  • fg-optional-russian.bin
  • fg-optional-spanish.bin

In example, if you want to launch the game with German UI/Subtitles/Voiceovers – skip all “optional” files, but download fg-optional-german.bin, fg-optional-rus-spa-ger-fra.bin & all main files (01-06).
