Repack Features

  • Based on Steam BuildID 20773316 release: 88.4 GB
  • Hypervisor Bypass (INTEL & AMD) by DenuvOwO + Goldberg emu applied over
  • Many antiviruses, including Windows Defender are now marking HV files as rootkits, rendering games unplayable. To avoid it either turn off AV completely, or add source/target installation folders to exclusions
  • VBS.cmd script v1.5 added
  • Custom launcher added for easier HV steps processing
  • Special mod for unlocking more DLCs/drops added
  • Game version: Build 1613387; 20 DLCs are included and activated
  • Two bonus OSTs (432 MB) added, thanks to SittingOnClouds!
  • Russian Localization v1.4 (2.9 GB) by GamesVoice added
  • 100% Lossless & MD5 Perfect: all files are identical to originals after installation
  • NOTHING ripped, NOTHING re-encoded
  • Selective Download feature: you may skip downloading and installing of credits video, bonus OSTs & voiceover packs you don’t need. English VOs are included by default
  • Smaller archive size (compressed from cumulative 91.7 to 63.9~83 GB, depending on selected components)
  • Installation takes 4-35 minutes (depending on your system and selected components, mostly on drive speed)
  • After-install integrity check so you could make sure that everything installed properly
  • HDD space after installation: up to 91.7 GB
  • Language can be changed in “Engine/Binaries/ThirdParty/Steamworks/Steamv154/Win64/steam_settings/configs.user.ini” file

Then do the following steps manually:

  • Make sure you have virtualization tech enabled in your BIOS: VT-x for Intel or AMD-V (SVM) for AMD
  • Run “VBS.cmd” in the game folder – you might want to download fresh version here: https://fitgirlrepacks.org/hypervisor-guide/
  • Press 1 to make necessary changes to the system
  • Reboot and in the loading menu press F7 to disable DSE
  • Run “HogwartsLegacy.exe”
  • Play
  • Run “VBS.cmd” again and press 3 to revert made changes
  • Reboot in the normal, secure mode

Why Muggle Repack?

Hogwarts Legacy uses very slow Oodle compression library method called Kraken. It means, that while repacking of the game is possible, it would install for TWO HOURS on 32-threaded CPU, yet would be smaller only by 7.8 GB, sorcery won’t help. So instead very fast algo was used and the main gain you get here is from selective download option. And any muggle can do that, hence the “Muggle Repack” title.
