Repack Features

  • Unlike initial release, the game no longer works under Windows 7
  • Based on Gears.Tactics.Jacked-CODEX ISO release: codex-gears.tactics.jacked.iso (30,700,634,112 bytes)
  • Game version is Update 4 (Jacked); Thrashball Cole Character Pack DLC is included and activated
  • 100% Lossless & MD5 Perfect: all files are identical to originals after installation
  • NOTHING ripped, NOTHING re-encoded
  • Selecitive Download feature: you may skip downloading and installing of voiceover packs you don’t need
  • Significantly smaller archive size (compressed from 28.6 to 19.2~20.1 GB, depending on selected components)
  • Installation takes: ~25 minutes on 8-threads CPU; ~50 minutes on 4-threads CPU
  • After-install integrity check so you could make sure that everything installed properly
  • HDD space after installation: up to 30 GB
  • Language can be changed in game settings
  • Repack uses compression library by Razor12911
  • At least 3 GB of free RAM (inc. virtual) required for installing this repack
Game Description
Gears Tactics is the fast-paced, turn-based strategy game set 12 years before the first Gears of War. Cities on the planet Sera are beginning to fall to the monstrous threat rising from underground – the Locust Horde. Game Features

Selective Download

You can skip downloading of voicepacks you don’t need. Here is the list of selective files. Remember, at least one voice pack MUST be downloaded and installed:

  • fg-selective-english.bin (REQIRED for all languages without own voicepacks)
  • fg-selective-brazilian.bin
  • fg-selective-french.bin
  • fg-selective-german.bin
  • fg-selective-italian.bin
  • fg-selective-spanish.bin (both Spanish varians are included)

In example, if you want to launch the game with German UI/Subtitles/Voiceovers – skip all “selective” files, but download fg-selective-german.bin & all main files (01-03).

Backwards Compatibility

This repack is NOT backwards compatible with my previous GT repack.
