Game Description
Book Smugglers is a narrative point and click adventure based on a true, untold story. Set in 19th-century, you play as a member of the underground network of “knygnesiai” – book smugglers risking their lives to preserve a forbidden language under Tsarist rule.

Game Features

  • Resource Management – Each mission requires careful planning. Strategically manage your limited supplies, such as food, money, books and other tools. What you carry will determine how you will be able to act. Choose wisely. You won’t be able to bring everything.
  • Tough Decisions – Experience the weight of your decisions, because even choosing the same option may bring very different results that can heavily influence your mission. Sometimes you will succeed. Sometimes you will fail. And sometimes, things will take an unexpected turn.
  • Based on True Events – Interact with real figures from history, decode secret messages, and uncover stories hidden by censorship. The narrative is inspired by a resistance so unique, UNESCO recognizes it as world heritage.
